| JOB Descriptions |
- Essential Duties in this role include:
- Install, configure, maintain, monitor, and support networking hardware mainly related to security appliances, routers, switches, and enterprise wireless networks.
- Document LAN/MAN/WAN/WLAN configuration, installation procedures and administration procedures
- Troubleshoot complex problems related to network traffic and resolve trouble tickets as assigned.
- Perform tasks related to or manage specific projects to implement new technology as assigned.
- Organize priorities, escalate problems as needed and communicate effectively with manager, co-workers and clients.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple projects, issues and problems, meet deadlines and set clear expectations.

| Other Duties may include: |
- Required to work night time on call on a weekly basis on rotation with networking team
- Required to work after business hours and weekends occasionally
- Escalates and documents to management when inappropriate usage of any system is habitual
|
| Knowledge, Skills and Abilities necessary in this role: |
- Ability to determine when to escalate problems as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills used to effectively communicate with manager, co-workers and clients.
- Knowledge of Windows operating system and server hardware components
- Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, security appliances, wireless access, and load balancers
- Strong time management to effectively and efficiently manage your own time.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment, perform tasks with minor supervision and add value as a team member.

| Minimum Education and Experience required: |
- Technical degree
- CCNA/MCSE Certification
- Must have 3-5 years enterprise level 24x7x365 mission critical environment hands on work experience in the following:
- Multi-site complex LAN/MAN/WANs configuring, implementing and supporting Cisco routers, switches, security hardware appliances, secure wireless networks, and F5 network load balancers platforms; NMS and MPLS networks; OSPF and BGP Routing.
